Get in touchThe GWO Fire Awareness module is a core element of the Global Wind Organisation Basic Safety Training. It is designed for individuals working in or seeking access to wind turbine environments, providing the essential knowledge and practical skills required to prevent, identify, and respond to fire hazards in both onshore and offshore wind energy operations. The course focuses on understanding fire risks, applying appropriate prevention measures, and using firefighting equipment safely and effectively to protect yourself and others in a turbine environment.

Upon successful completion, participants will be awarded the GWO Fire Awareness certificate. All results are uploaded to GWO WINDA and are valid for 24 months.
