This Accredited course will equip students with the theoretical and practical training necessary to develop the skills required to maintain and inspect wind turbine support systems.
The full course consists of four modules:
Core – passing this module is a prerequisite to receiving certification in the other modules
Working at Height Systems & Equipment
Service Lift
Compact & Davit Cranes
This course can be physically demanding and to participate in the training you must be medically fit and capable to participate fully.
Course is conducted in English, therefore you must have an appropriate level of fluency to participate.
Prerequisites
Valid Working at Height certificate
Valid photographic identification
Proof of fit to train
18 years and over
Students will need to bring
Appropriate clothing to perform working at height
Appropriate clothing for all weather conditions
Safety footwear
PPE is provided by Hexis, should you wish to use your own this needs to be advised prior to the course commencing, allowing Hexis to inspect and sign off for use. (certs of conformity & report of thorough examination by a competent person will need to be shown on the day of your course) Hexis withholds the right to refuse use of equipment should it fail visual inspection.
